Successful Bamboo Propagation Using Culm Cuttings

Propagating bamboo from culm cuttings is one method used to create a new bamboo plant. This primarily works with tropical clumping bamboo and not with temperate running bamboo. However, this propagation method does not work with all tropical clumpers either. This video shows the results from my previous video https://youtu.be/_cfM33kHCmo where I cut up a culm of Dendrocalamus validus and planted them in a community pot. Biggest lesson learned from all this....don't community put cuttings and leave them for a year! Instead, put each cuttings in it's own pot so when they do root there's nothing for you to do except transfer to a large pot.
